I'm visiting the UK in June 2024 and I want to visit both Stratford-on-Avon and some of the villages in the Cotswolds. We have King Charles' Highgrove House and such. Bourton in particular can get very busy though, so avoid it on weekends. Personally don't like the colour of Cotswold stone. It’s definitely a good idea to visit more rural parts of the UK and not just London, but if you’re already visiting the Lake District (which imo is more beautiful than the Cotswolds) then there’s no reason to visit the Cotswolds too.
